Forest of Cones.

Materials: Paper, Resin, Brass and Metal.

A big light installation commissioned for the Paper Biennale in Tel Aviv.

The light installation is stretching from the ceiling to the ground, including light fixtures, which draw their inspiration from the world of plants.

The shades were made of paper rolled into cones fixed and hardened by resin. The asymmetrical edges of the cones preserve the memory of the act of tearing the paper, and endow each cone with it unique appearance.

The thin poles suggest a forest of tall trees while the colorful array of cones creates a vertical carpet of blooming lights.
