'THE CIRCLE' - an exhibition about sustainability at Design Museum Holon

The Japanese term ko-more-bi (composed of the Kanji characters for tree, leak/pass through, and sun) describes sunlight filtering through foliage. It expresses a refined appreciation of nature and the beauty of an ephemeral moment – which have deep meaning in Japanese culture.
This work captures the human attempt to connect to “nature” and the sensor encounter with it. By means of the mobile, Meiri transposes this poetic experience into the museum, isolating the moment of lingering before the delicate play of light and the movement of the leaves.
